Wireless Meeting 2026 is an event by Wavecom, Soluções Rádio, SA

Wavecom, Soluções Rádio, SA is committed to respecting the privacy and confidentiality of the personal data made available to it, and for this reason this document provides information on how such data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. We have adopted administrative and technological measures to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation.

Our form is intended for the registration and counting of participants in our events, as a way of ensuring the best possible quality during attendance at the event.

We only collect the personal data necessary for registration in our events, i.e., (full) name, institution, telephone contact, position and email address, in order to communicate to you information regarding the running of the event for which you are registering.

Only a limited number of Wavecom, Soluções Rádio, SA employees who are actively involved in organising the event.

Your personal data will be shared with MAIN SPONSOR as consideration for their sponsorship, and you should consult their privacy policy in this regard.

Your personal data will be used solely for sending communications relating to the event for which you are registering, namely programme updates, changes of venue and/or time, or last-minute information that may be relevant to the smooth running of the event.

After the event, you may receive communications about future events, as well as about products and services related to your area of interest.

Your personal data is stored in our IT system. The rules on confidentiality and personal data protection are complied with during processing, as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 45/2001.

After the end of the event, your personal data will be kept in our databases for a period of 3 years. Once this period has elapsed, all data that could identify you will be deleted, and only data useful for statistical purposes will be retained.

If you have any questions or requests regarding the information provided when registering for an event, or wish to submit a complaint about the collection and use of your personal data, you may contact the data controller by email at privacidade@wavecom.pt

Complaints, in the event of a dispute with the data controller, may be addressed to the European Data Protection Supervisor.

Data subjects have the right of access, rectification, restriction of purposes, portability, erasure and objection to automated decisions.

Any employee who receives contact from a data subject wishing to exercise any of these rights must verify their identity before providing any information, in accordance with the procedure for exercising rights. After doing so, they must forward the request to the DPO for processing.

Wavecom, Soluções Rádio, SA may share the data with public authorities without the data subjects' knowledge in compliance with a legal or judicial obligation.
